LANGUAGE EXPLOSION:

It's here with a bang. Baby V is learning at least five words a day, such that it is really hard to keep up. In the last 3 days she has learned the verb "fly" (with accompanying flapping motion), tweet, bunny, button, truck, mailbox, banana, apple, cup, monkey, choo-choo, dog, stick, leaf, and water (AKA "oodah.") She has become convinced that there is some connection between the moon and the banana, since both are round and yellow and come out at night (she eats banana slices before bed), and so has begun to call the moon, and sometimes the banana, "moonana."

She is 17.5 months old and as usual is just slightly ahead of the average milestone for talking.
